Bookkeeping covers a wide range of accounting and administrative processes but ultimately our aim is to work with you to make sure you run the most efficient office you can, freeing you up to get on with the things you enjoy in life.  Bookkeeping to us involves the following but we’re happy to get involved in anything you think we might be able to help with, just ask:

We will do your bookkeeping at your place or ours — it’s totally up to you. We provide real value as you only pay for the time it takes a bookkeeper to do the job so there is no down time.  If you prefer, we will offer you a monthly fixed fee to help manage your cash flow.

We are competent with current accounting procedures and can use a range of accounting software packages including MYOB and Xero.  Most importantly, your accountant will be able to use the information we provide to efficiently produce your end of year accounts; minimising their time and cost.

We support many clients with their payroll needs.  We take payroll seriously and keep our team up to date with current HR and payroll legislation, so we can manage your payroll accurately and efficiently.

Our @ The Office team are competent with a range of payroll packages, including Flexitime, iPayroll, ACE, Xero and MYOB.  We can help advise what the best payroll system is for your business.

We can manage your HR and payroll for you, or set up the software, train you or your staff and provide ongoing support so you can manage it yourself.  We take away the worry by:

  • Writing and setting up employment contracts
  • Processing timesheets promptly and accurately
  • Calculating weekly/fortnightly/monthly wages
  • Ensuring that holiday pay and sick leave are paid and recorded correctly

With your permission, we will liaise with the IRD, ACC and your Accountant on your behalf:

  • Making sure all necessary IRD compliance including GST, PAYE, FBT and Income Tax are filed and paid on time or managed on arrangement. No more late payment or interest penalties.
  • Making sure your ACC levies are being calculated correctly and paid on time.
